The champions of 2010 Laguna Phuket Triathlon took their winner yesterday. They are Massimo Cigana from Italy and Belinda Granger from Australia. Each of them cross the finish line well and beat others including a host of top professional athletes and more than 800 amateurs from 33 countries.

This week a police officer was sniff out thousands of ya bah (methamphetamine) pills that were being smuggled onto the island in a car at Tah Chat Thai police checkpoint. The raising question was why the detection dogs were not on their permanent duty here.
