Phuket Bike Week 2011 was bright Patong tonight after festivities of big bike fun and games, live music, and road trips around the isle. At 4 PM today (10/4), a convoy of riders would leave Loma Park on Patong Beach, the main rally point and concert venue for Phuket Bike Week this year.
The convoy would going to the south on a two-hour or 30-kilometer round trip to Phuket’s majestic peninsula Laem Phromthep, the southern skirt on the island after they were passed Karon, Kata, and Nai Harn route. After the convoy the riders would dating body painting/tattoo contest on time as it would start at 6 PM. On the main stage would display fame Thai country music artist “Bowie” from 9PM to 10PM. After Bowie’s performance, it would continue with final round of Miss Phuket Bike Week 2011 from 10 PM to 11 PM.
Bike Week official program took three days while it would end with more live music from 11 PM until midnight. During the entertainment hit on stage, a collection of big and other custom bikes would be on the spot at the football field across Loma Park from 3PM to midnight. Within official activities behind them, the riders would content for the next two days on road trips in and around Phuket. The committee expected 6,000 riders to stay on the isle for Songkran (Thai New Year) which starts on Wednesday.
