More than 40,000 Phuket citizen are ready to register the absent ballots in upcoming general election. Based on information from Phuket Election Commission today, 40,680 people registered to vote other provinces during the registration period that ended on Friday afternoon.
Further 224,121 persons allowed voting for Phuket candidates. The voters in other provinces also underestimated the number of Phuket residents who will announce early due to they plan to hold Election Day on July 3. Phuket Constituency 1 comprises all of Muang District except for Rassada and Koh Kaew subdistricts. It contains 1,008 people as they have registered for advance voting which will take place at Phuket City Hall on Narisorn Road in Phuket Town on June 26. In Phuket Constituency 2, a total of 669 people have registered for advance voting that will take place at Phranangsang School in Thalang on the same day. There are 110,135 eligible voters in Phuket Constituency 1 and 113,986 eligible voters in Phuket Constituency 2, according to the commission.
