Phuket 2 constituency has elected Democrat Phuket MP Raywat Areerob who would tell about traffic, crime, and drugs as the most three pressing issues. “When I was campaigning, people suggested me the top three problems. Then they asked us to solve traffic jam, high level of crime and drugs especially in Pa Khlok and Yamu,” said Mr Raywat in a press conference with his fellow of Democrat Phuket MP elect Anchalee Vanich Thepabutr this afternoon.

“Khun Anchalee and I will work as a team to solve these issues,” said him. The press conference held in Phuket Merlin Hotel as they thanked to media for the promotion of election on July 3. “We thanked to those who chose us. Though it is not a big record, but we are happy about the result. Voter numbered about 74% in Phuket 1 and 76% in Phuket 2,” said her. Mrs Anchalee also stated if Pheu Thai winning will not affect some projects in Phuket, such as the Phuket International Convention and Exhibition Center (ICEC) and the airport’ extension.

“These projects had approved by the Cabinet then the new elected parties should follow rules and not cancel, delay, or transfer the budgets of the projects,” said her as the repetition of Mr Raywat’s speech on June 30. “Our national economy is well so the new government should fulfill people expectations by allowing the previous projects to continue,” said her. Abhisit Vejjajiva this morning putting his position as Democrat party leader, said Mrs Anchalee. “He was only fulfilled their duty in this party. A new leader and executive committee will elected within 90 days,” said her.
