MV Logos Hope regarding to 132 meter ship while it is home of world’s largest library on the water. It canceled to stop in Phuket as it dropped anchor at Phuket Deep Sea Port from August 17 to 28. Now it will depart its current port of Visakhapatnam, India, on August 13 then it will sail directly to Penang, Malaysia.
Thai volunteer Yuttakorn Kriengparinyakij explained Phuket Gazette getting technical problem and it decided to go to Malaysia directly. “All of the crew are regret to cancel their trip to Phuket. We hope to come back soon, it may be next year,” said him. Logos Hope will visit Penang and Port Klang before they entering Kuching and Kota Kinabalu on Borneo. Project Manager Heverton Muniz denied there were any factors instead the mechanical problem. “It is one of our generators problem. We got technical errors so we can not visit Phuket now. We have to go to a place where we can fix this problem,” Mr Muniz said.
