Today cabinet approved 200 million baht funds to begin the flyover project on the outskirt of Phuket Town. The project called Klong Koh Pee as it has been delayed for 15 years. The approval announced by Deputy Government Spokesman Anusorn Iamsa-ard in the middle of the day after a morning session with the Prince of Songkla University (PSU) Phuket Campus.
Mr Anusorn told the press about the approval as it will soon connect Sakdidet Road Soi 7 to Saphan Hin. The budget will send in two steps: 40mn baht will be on 2013 and 160mn baht will be on 2014. The project predicted to finish in 480 days. The approval followed by a pack of special legal amendments for Phuket and Klong Koh Pee. It will satisfy former Phuket Governor Wichai Phraisa-ngop who completed this project as his farewell wish in September 2010. PM Yingluck visited the project site with Phuket Town Mayor Somjai Suwansupana yesterday afternoon
