It began with 121 Burmese found in the sealed container heading from Ranong which then resulted for the dead of 17 men, 26 women and one 8-year old girl from suffocation in 2008. Four Thais finally found guilty for this human trafficking and were sentenced between three to ten years’ imprisonment.

Phuket Custom officers caught 47,000 liters of illegal diesel on two Taiwanese boats in the eastern coastal of Phuket Sunday. The smuggled diesel was worth 21 million baht.
